Default UTSA Senoir Day

Well those who know me, know my oldest Krista plays ball for UT San Antonio. Last weekend was her senior day. It was an awesome series against Tx State. They have beaten us every yr she has played there. We got them 2 out of 3 Whoo hoo!!!

Well after the craw fish and gumbo was eaten the reality of it being over soon hit me hard. I read the one about the drive home lol, we had that several times. The high fives at third, the walks to the mound to pull her out on a bad day. The HR's at Nationals to the injuries in Colorado and High school. The recruiting process disappointments to jubilation.

The day that coach Cook said we want you to play for us and we will pay for most of it whoo hoo!!!! The first game second at bat 'HR' screaming in the stands. The game winning HR's she hit against teams that said no. Traveling all over to see her play. She even would call and say Dad wish you where here so you could see my swing. Well you get my drift.

So yeah Saturday I had tears in my eyes as I watched her last home game. She made several incredible plays at first. The type you have seen her do over the years and she makes it look so easy.

I will miss it so much, and it has been so awesome. So as your daughters play ball every once in a while sit back and take it in. Enjoy those moments. I have so many logged in my mind and I love it.

Remember that every game is not the world series and don't critique every at bat to much. And if one coach says no there is always other schools. The most important thing is her grades !

So next thing for me lol.. Umpire school.....
Tim
